Mr. Coonradt viewed how people often work harder at sports and competitive aims than they do at work. He noted in such activities:

A games' goals are clearly defined, the scorekeeping is better, the feedback is more frequent, there is a higher degree of choice and the rules rarely change.

As the name of Mr. Coonradt's book implies, it may be time for viewing your business as a sports entity.
